“Free-verse flavours for the palette,”
she said taking a sip.
“Sharp undertones of a realistic nature, it seems.”

holding his glass to the light.
“Although I like this one.” he complimented

“With the aroma of dusty books,”
shared another.
“Think he is still using pen and paper.”

“Well balanced imagery,”
taking another sip.
“Theme seems to be consistent throughout,”

“Very crisp,” he added
“Every word has its place.”

“It does have a fresh finish to it,”
after taking another sip.

“Might end up with a metaphorical hangover!”
