Writing poetry to serve a vengeful agenda

The ink has seduced you
Now you’re nothing but a slave
To the beat of your own heart

Words reflected in your eyes
Realising the power of the pen
Has taken over your soul

Addicted to the game of revenge
You keep writing
Determined to satisfy your desire
Describing the injustice with metaphors

The thrill of the rush excites you
When creatively you succeed
In accomplishing a poem

That will see your enemies
Cringe with pain

When they read
Your poetical vendetta
